Specifications

A compact housing with a thin, even border around the display and the opening laser-cut to your exact IMD model. Build it two ways: for an IMD 10.1" panel PC, or for an IMD 10.1" touch monitor with an IMD mini PC on a bracket behind it, which gives you a sealed HMI with the computer you choose inside. A gasketed rear cover comes off for service, cable glands sit underneath, and the back takes a VESA 100 arm, a pedestal or a wall mount. Add the operator strip for four 22 mm pushbuttons, pilot lights or an E-stop.

304 stainless: is it the right grade?

304 suits indoor washdown, food and beverage lines and most outdoor installs. For coastal air, brine or chlorinated cleaners, choose 316L. Compare 304 and 316L.

Wall-mount enclosures are manufacturer-rated NEMA 4X-type / IP66 - not UL listed. HMI enclosures are IP65-type at the front seal with the display installed. Once cutouts are added, the rating of the finished enclosure depends on properly rated components and cable glands being installed in every opening.
