What ratings do the enclosures carry?
Wall-mount enclosures are rated NEMA 4X / IP66 by the manufacturer, and HMI housings have an IP65-type front seal with the display installed. These are manufacturer ratings: the enclosures are not UL listed, and NEMA does not certify or endorse them.
How long does it take?
Every enclosure is made to order. The lead time is confirmed with your order; shipping time comes on top of that. See Shipping.
Who handles payment and shipping?
NEMA4 Enclosure is a product line of Industrial Monitor Direct. Checkout runs on the secure Industrial Monitor Direct checkout, and Industrial Monitor Direct ships and supports your order. Shipping, taxes and a 3% card processing fee are calculated at checkout.
Can you cut the door for a display I already own?
Yes. Choose the matching IMD panel PC cutout, or send us your drawing for any other opening and we quote it.
Should I choose 304 or 316L?
304 suits indoor washdown, food and beverage lines and most outdoor installs. Choose 316L where salt air, brine, chlorinated water or chlorine-based sanitizers are present. See 304 vs 316L.
What comes with a wall-mount enclosure?
A gasketed hinged door, a removable mounting panel on welded studs, ground studs and four wall-mount feet. The IMD mini PC configuration adds a VESA / DIN-rail adapter plate and two extra cable glands; the panel PC configuration has the door cut for the IMD panel PC you choose.
Can I return an enclosure?
Standard products can be returned within 90 days from delivery, unused and in their original condition, with an RMA number first. Customized or modified items are not eligible, so if your order includes a cutout or other change, ask us before ordering. See Returns.
What warranty do I get?
Industrial Monitor Direct covers every unit it ships for three years, parts and labor, on manufacturing defects. Gaskets and normal wear are not covered. See Warranty.
Do you ship outside the United States?
Industrial Monitor Direct ships to select countries; rates and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout. Customs duties and taxes are the buyer's responsibility.
Can we buy on terms or with a purchase order?
Net 30 terms are available, and W-9 and resale certificates are available on request. Email [email protected] to set us up as a vendor.
