Find an enclosure for your application.
Start with the environment and listing requirement. Then check the space your components need against the real inside dimensions of our standard sizes.
Your options
Start with the environment.
Select the application and listing requirement. Add dimensions if you have them; you can also start with a drawing.
A shortlist checks dimensions, not the completed installation. Check the heat load, wire bending space, equipment clearances and every cutout. Ratings are manufacturer ratings; the enclosures are not UL listed.
Application reference
Start with what reaches the enclosure.
| Application | Where to start | Check before ordering |
|---|---|---|
| Dry indoor panels | 304 stainless wall-mount sizes | Mounting panel, wiring space, heat load and any project listing requirement. Custom Type 1 or 12 builds can also be quoted. |
| Outdoor rain | Outdoor enclosure selection | Water exposure, sun, condensation, cable entries and the mounting method. |
| Hose washdown | Washdown enclosure selection | Water pressure and temperature, cleaning chemicals and hygienic requirements. NEMA 4X / IP66 does not establish an IP69 rating. |
| Salt or chloride exposure | 316L stainless sizes | Chloride concentration, temperature, cleaning regime and maintenance. 316L is not immune to corrosion. |
| IMD operator displays | HMI housings by screen size | Exact display model, opening, rear depth and mounting. The housing has an IP65-type front seal with the display installed; it is not a full-body NEMA 4X claim. |
| UL listing or special protection | Understand rating versus listing | Our enclosures are not UL listed. Confirm the project requirement with your engineer or inspector before choosing. |
Read the rating comparison, stainless grade guide, and sizing method. Dimensions come from each product's reference CAD.
Before you choose
How do ratings and third-party listings differ?
A manufacturer rating and a third-party listing are different. These enclosures are manufacturer rated and are not UL listed. If your project, specification or inspector requires a listing, confirm that requirement before selecting a product.
Which enclosure dimensions does the selector check?
It compares your minimum inside height and width with the reference CAD dimensions. Component depth is checked against the nominal mounting-panel-to-door clearance, not the outside depth. Add the wiring and service clearance your equipment requires.
Does the selector account for enclosure cooling?
No. A dimensional match does not establish thermal suitability. Use the heat calculator with your equipment heat load, ambient temperature and maximum internal temperature, including outdoor sun exposure.
What if a standard size does not fit?
Request a custom quote with the requirements you entered, or use the enclosure builder. You approve a dimensioned drawing before custom production; delivery is 10 business days from drawing approval.
